Food is Mood

Updated: Jul 15, 2023

The news is everywhere now: ultra-processed foods and gut health are linked to low mood and depression. A diet of natural whole foods boosts your mood: fruits and vegetables, fish, lean proteins, healthy fats and whole grains. When you consider the benefits of losing weight, combatting compromised health, as well as boosting your mood, there's even more reason to watch what you eat daily.

Break the cycle! Resist succumbing to those intense cravings. Seek to understand what is causing those cravings and the emotions associated with them. Our food choices are often intertwined with social and emotional experiences, but often leave us in the gutter.

Lately, I’d been so caught up in stress eating and low moods that I completely forgot to finish my accounting assignment. The constant cravings and emotional ups and downs left me drained and unmotivated. That’s when I decided to take control—switching to healthier meals really helped. I also used Accounting Assignment Help to catch up, and honestly, both changes made a huge difference in how I feel and focus now.
